Brighton Approach Streetcar

This route would be a Findlay Market to West End to Uptown route and operate separately from the downtown route. It would use a rebuilt Brighton Approach bridge over Central Parkway. The new bridge would have to be built to support modern streetcar weight (also this would be a steep grade to traverse, if possible at all.) It uses McMillan St. to get up the hill to Uptown.

It connects Findlay Market (to serve existing economic hub), West End (to catalyze historic rehabs and small scale developments,) south UC campus (to serve existing economic hub), the Innovation District (to catalyze large scale developments and form a better connection to UC campus), and Walnut Hills and East Walnut Hills (to catalyze and support ongoing development.)

This line could be built in stages: Stage 1 from Findlay Market to Auburn Ave, Stage 2 Auburn Ave to Winslow Ave, Stage 3 Winslow Ave to Woodburn Ave.  Or, if a small section of track for a return loop at W Clifton Ave between Calhoun and McMillan was added: Stage 1 from Findlay Market to W Clifton Ave, Stage 2 W Clifton Ave to Winslow Ave, Stage 3 Winslow Ave to Woodburn Ave.

A system of streetcar routes could be built, working together with this one:
